Wanna Auto-Tune through your iPhone like the guys did on the SuperBowl commercial? Believe it or not there’s an app for that.

There’s no question that Auto-Tune’s surge in popularity is due to it’s in your face, over the top use by T-Pain. Now, other artists are building on the efforts of T-Pain taking his signature style to a whole new level.

[URL="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=314652382&mt=8"]T-Pain and Antares[/URL], [iTunes link] the company which developed Auto-Tune, have collaborated on an Auto-Tune app for the iPhone.

According to the Las Angeles Times, the app uses the vocal-transforming technology to shift the pitch of your voice in a cellphone or other device.

According to Georganna Drayton, Antares’ chief operating officer, the app will ”use our software and T-Pain’s beats so you can make music on the iPhone.”

Drayton has not mentioned whether the app will integrate with actual phone calls as seen on the commercial.
